You wake up, energized, calm and ready to start your day. You head to the kitchen to make your kids some Eggo waffles, per their request, and decide you want some too. As the waffles pop up from the toaster you put the amount of butter, syrup and extra toppings that you want without hesitation. As you enjoy each bite without calculating wondering “if it fits” or if you’ll workout later because of carbs. As you eat you realize you are satisfied leaving a few bites left on your plate. You walk away from your meal feeling energized, guilt free, connected in conversation with your kids before they head to school. That is the last time you think about the eggo waffle that day.

MODULE 1: Rewiring  Labels w/Food

We work together in helping you remove morality from food like "good" or "bad" to seeing it as nourishment for the mind, body and soul.

MODULE 2: Forbidden Foods

Learn the secret formula to giving yourself permission to partake and enjoy all foods to initiate healing with food.

MODULE 3: Last Supper Mentality

Learn the tactics to help you break the 'binge and restrict' cycle for good and begin to experience calmness around food. 

MODULE 4: Emotional Eating

Be able to understand and identify what triggers emotional eating, things to do prior to turning to food and when to implement food.

MODULE 5: Hunger & Fullness

Can you imagine being able to navigate meals without an app or food scale? You will initiate, learn and cultivate clear hunger and fullness cues -- no more second guessing. 

MODULE 6: Decoding Cravings

Breaking down and understand cravings focusing on what causes them, how to navigate them and when to act.

MODULE 7: Building a Meal

Learn how to build meals with confidence whether a part of the normal routine or in the middle of spontaneous dinner out. 

MODULE 8: Metabolism

What's better than knowing why your metabolism is "damaged"? Knowing how to fix it. Get ready to be mid-blown by the tools you learn in this module. 

MODULE 9: Breaking Away From the "Fixing"

Learning how to identify and navigate all the crap you hear about diets and weight loss like a pro. Good Bye 30 day cut programs titled 'love your body challenge'.

MODULE 10: Body Image Work

Learn how to stay grounded and confident in yourself on those "bad" body image days. We focus on steps and exercises to support you on those days as well as practices for mindful body work to stay at peace. 

MODULE 11: Joyful Movement

You will be tuning in on how to move for YOU -- for the betterment of your physical and mental health.

  • How long is the group coaching program?

    This program is 12 weeks (3 months long) with weekly LIVE group coaching calls, regular Q&A sessions to support you, a private community on Slack, weekly modules with worksheets + videos to help you cultivate a healing relationship with food pushing you to the thriving one you've always wanted with your body.

  • When does the next program start?

    Brown Girl Method kicks off July 2022!

  • How do I know this works?

    The process that Teisa guides clients through in this program was influenced through her personal experience and her work with 1:1 clients for the past 2 years. Women would consistently choose to work with her 1:1 wanting to improve their relationship with food. So through her time working with women she has created a framework that has helped women, including herself, improve a relationship with food and body.   • Is there a payment plan?

    Yes, varying options for your budget. You can pay monthly for 3 months, 4 months (pay less per months), 6 months or in full.

The Structure

Phase 1: 4 weeks of recreating the way you view food

You will learn how to reintroduce forbidden foods, uncover emotional eating triggers and learn how to allow food to be more than fuel. 

Phase 2: 4 weeks of learning your personal nutrition

Learn how to dish up confidently without a food scale or app, gain access to quick + easy meals, templates to confidently build a meal, learn how to fuel for exercise, uncover hunger and fullness cues and decode cravings.

Phase 3: 4 weeks cultivating a thriving relationship with your body

Identify and separate societal standards to create your own that will ultimately help you achieve body acceptance. learn how to measure progress beyond the scale and expose BMI irrelevancy.
