You wake up, energized, calm and ready to start your day. You head to the kitchen to make your kids some Eggo waffles, per their request, and decide you want some too. As the waffles pop up from the toaster you put the amount of butter, syrup and extra toppings that you want without hesitation. As you enjoy each bite without calculating wondering “if it fits” or if you’ll workout later because of carbs. As you eat you realize you are satisfied leaving a few bites left on your plate. We are confronting and challenging our beliefs so we can break free from society's cage emphasized on thinness and begin to rediscover our true selves. 

MODULE 2: Healing Forever

In this module we identify your starting point and decide what your next steps are to achieving a healthy relationship with food forever.

MODULE 3: Why 1200 Calories isn't Enough

How to know you are eating enough and What's better than knowing why your metabolism is "damaged"? Knowing how to fix it. Get ready to be mid-blown by the tools you learn in this module.

 

MODULE 4: Food Guilt Stops Here

We work together in helping you remove morality from food, learn the secret formula to giving yourself permission partake all kinds of foods helping you break the 'binge and restrict' cycle for good! 

MODULE 5: Revealing Your Body's Wisdom 

Can you imagine being able to navigate meals without an app or food scale? You will initiate, learn and cultivate clear hunger and fullness cues, bored eating and over eating  -- no more second guessing

MODULE 6: Decoding Cravings & Emotional Eating

Experiencing heightened cravings can feel very confusing on how to address them. Emotions dictating eating habits can feel wrong or faulted. In this module we understand cravings, uncover emotional eating -- no more guilt, confusion or sometimes feeling repulsive.

MODULE 7: The TRUTH About Exercise

Find out what a healthy relationship with exercise actually looks like and how to get there. 

MODULE 8: Learning Body Acceptance

 This module is for those who feel like they have tried every trick in the book to better your body image and nothing has worked. You will learn tactics to stay grounded and supported on those harder days as well learn how to track progress outside of using a scale.

MODULE 9: Nutrition 101

Navigating health can be challenging to stay the course of prioritizing your health without the diet and hustle mentality. Here we uncover behavior change, how to initiate it, be consistent that has you left honoring your body while also prioritizing your health. 

MODULE 10: Nutrition 101

Learn about protein, fat, carbs, fiber without weighing, logging or tracking. Also, how to read a food label, what to pay attention to and ignore. 

MODULE 11: How to Build Hunger Crushing Snacks + Meals

Confidently build snacks and meals that hit that satisfaction factor while crushing the hunger. We also go over meal prepping, grocery shopping and kitchen functionality.

FAQ

  • How long is the program and what is the time commitment?

    This program is 12 weeks long. You can commit as much time as you would like to but in order to really see impact you should plan on spending at least an hour and half each week. Our weekly LIVE group coaching calls will be an hour long and to work through the modules is about 30 minutes. Women who have gone through the program are mothers, entrepreneurs, and employees and have found the commitment very manageable.

  • What kind of support will I get in the program?

    There are SO MANY forms of support in this program. There is a 1 hr group coaching call every week where each person gets personalized coaching. You get a new module each week with actionable items, supportive resources, and check-ins. There is private slack group with constant support. And, there is 1:1 access tome via DM and optional add on private calls.

  • How do I know this works?

    The process that Teisa guides clients through in this program was influenced through her personal experience and her work with 1:1 clients for the past 2 years. Women would consistently choose to work with her 1:1 wanting to improve their relationship with food. So through her time working with women she has created a framework that has helped women, including herself, improve a relationship with food and body.   • Is everyone accepted?

    No, not everyone is accepted. This group coaching program set up is still very intimate and I want to ensure that every person in the group has the right energy to create the environment I are looking for. It is also very important that Brown Girl Method is the right fit for you at the time you're applying. If there is a reason why it is not we can direct you to options that may be a better fit.

  • Is this course for someone with an eating disorder?

    This program DOES NOT substitute for eating disorder treatment. This program also is not a substitute for a doctor-patient relationship.   • What is the investment for Brown Girl Method?

    Brown Girl Method is not the right fit for everyone. If you are accepted you can have the confidence before committing that I genuinely believe you are a great fit. The program will make a transformative impact on your life so it is an investment, but ask yourself "What is the cost of staying where I am at?"

  • Is it normal to be nerv-xcited when applying?

    Yes !!! It is incredibly normal to be nervous and excited when you apply. A choice like this pushes you out of your comfort zone and has you revisiting experiences and parts of your beliefs that may be untapped and that is nerve-racking! But you have to remember that the staying exactly where you are right now. Draw back on the best choices in your life and ask yourself, "were those made in my comfort zone?" In order to get the results you dream of you have to make the decisions that you know will get you there... even if you may be nervous.
